Our Why

We specialize in providing locally grown flowers for the community, and we love to make people happy. From arrangements to bulk purchases, and seasonal U‑Pick, we strive to offer something for everyone. Variety is the spice of life!

We're a flower farm and shop rather than a traditional florist — nothing is ordered in, so every bouquet is cut from the field out back the same week you take it home.

Summer / Fall

Zinnia, dahlia, sunflower, cosmos, coneflower, hydrangea, rudbeckia, larkspur, celosia, snapdragon, and marigold — plus new varieties we add to the field every year.

Fall / Winter

Zinnias and dahlias keep blooming until the first frost. The stand closes for the season November through March.

Who Are We?

The Little Family

We are the Little family: Meghan, Chris, Brayden, and Avery. We came to the area in 2012 and fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains. All of a sudden, we had the opportunity to purchase a home on some land in Afton — land that had an operational flower farm. With green thumbs and a love for the outdoors, we decided to carry on the business and have been going all-in ever since.

Visit the Stand

See us at the stand & shop at 9051 Dick Woods Rd, Afton, VA — an easy drive from Charlottesville, Crozet, Waynesboro, and Nellysford, and a good stop along the wineries and breweries of Route 151.

Daily fresh flowers from April through October — fresh pre-cut jars
Mid-to-late season U-Pick — grab a pail and have a blast

Host Your Special Day With Us

We are happy to host your special events right here on the farm. We often work with local floral designers to provide flower-arranging workshops.

U-Pick, U-Choose

Grab a Pail & Wander the Field

Come pick your own flowers, or arrange your own from the fresh flowers we've already picked. Grab a pail, hang out as long as you'd like, meet the cats, and leave with a beautiful jar of flowers.

U-Pick pricing: $20 for a medium skinny jar, $30–$40 for a large vase.

A Flowery Fun Stay

Stay on the Farm

Book our on-farm rental apartment and wake up steps from the flower fields. Guests get free U-Pick when it's in season.
